This notice explains how Arcle Technologies Ltd (“Arcle”) collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our app and services. We are the data controller for the information described below.

Information we collect

  • Account data — your name, email, phone number, country, and username.
  • Wallet data — your public wallet address and on-chain transaction history (public by nature). We never collect or store your private keys or passkey secrets.
  • Financial data — local account details and transaction records needed to provide fiat features through licensed partners.
  • Conversation data — messages you send the Arcle assistant, used to fulfil your requests and improve responses.
  • Device & usage data — IP address, device type, and app interactions for security and analytics.

How we use your data

To provide and secure the service, process transactions, prevent fraud and money laundering, comply with legal obligations, personalise your experience, and communicate with you about your account.

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum data necessary with trusted processors, including:

  • Circle — modular wallet infrastructure and USDC issuance.
  • Licensed local payment partners — local fiat accounts and transfers (e.g. Nigeria).
  • Supabase — encrypted database and authentication.
  • OpenAI / Groq — language-model processing of your assistant messages.
  • Upstash — session memory and rate limiting.
  • Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API) — if you choose to chat with Arcle over WhatsApp.

We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Conversation history is retained to provide continuity and can be cleared on request.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, self-custodial passkeys for on-chain signing, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please protect your device and credentials.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us below.
