Guide
Step-by-step walkthroughs for everything you can do on Arcle.
Setting up your account
Follow these steps to create your Arcle account and get started.
Open the sign-up page in your browser or on your phone.
Type your email address and click continue. Arcle will send a one-time verification code to your inbox.
Check your email for the verification code and enter it on the screen. This confirms you own the email.
Select your country of residence. This sets your local currency and available payment methods (e.g., selecting Nigeria gives you NGN account access).
Pick your Arcle @username. This is your social payment identity — others can send you money using this name.
Your device will prompt you to use Face ID, fingerprint, or device PIN. This is your primary security for digital currency. It cannot be bypassed.
Choose a 4-digit PIN. This is used for local currency payments and app access. Do not share it with anyone.
Your dashboard opens. You can now start chatting with Arcle to send money, pay bills, or explore features. Try typing “What can you do?”
Understanding your accounts
Every Arcle account comes with three linked identities. Here is how they work:
Global Wallet
Your digital currency wallet. Use it to send and receive USDC globally. Addresses look like “0x...” and can be viewed in the chat by asking “Show my wallet address.” Only you can move funds from this wallet — every transaction requires your biometric passkey approval.
Local Account
Your country-specific fiat account. In Nigeria, this gives you an NGN account number that you can share to receive bank transfers. Ask Arcle “Show my account details” to see your number. Deposit from your bank, then use the balance to pay bills or send locally.
Your @username
Your Arcle username is a simpler way for others to send you money. “Send @john 5,000” works instantly. No need to share addresses or account numbers with other Arcle users.
Sending money
You can send money to anyone \u2014 wallet address, Arcle username, or phone number.
From your dashboard, tap the chat input at the bottom of the screen.
Write something like “Send 50 USDC to @alice” or “Pay John 5,000 NGN for dinner.”
Arcle will show a summary: the amount, the recipient, and the network (for digital currency). Check that everything is correct.
For digital currency sends, your device will prompt for biometric (Face ID / fingerprint). For local currency, enter your 4-digit PIN.
Arcle executes the payment and shows you a confirmation with transaction details. The recipient is notified.
Receiving money
There are several ways to receive money on Arcle:
The simplest method. Tell the sender your Arcle username (e.g., @john). They can send to you directly from their chat.
Ask Arcle “Show my wallet address” and share the 0x address with anyone sending digital currency.
Ask Arcle “Show my account details” to get your local bank account number. Share this with anyone sending bank transfers.
Type “Create a payment link for 10,000 NGN” and Arcle generates a shareable URL. Send it via WhatsApp, email, or anywhere. The recipient pays without needing an app.
If someone sends you a drop link, open it in your browser and follow the instructions to claim.
Paying bills
You can pay airtime, data, electricity, TV, internet, water, and betting bills.
Tap the agent selector at the top of the chat and choose “Pay Bills.” This focuses the assistant on bill payments.
For example: “Buy 1,000 NGN airtime for 08012345678” or “Pay my electricity bill — meter number 1234567890.”
Arcle will ask for any missing information — meter number, smart card number, phone number, or amount.
Check the biller, amount, and identifier. Confirm with your PIN.
Arcle processes the payment and sends you a receipt. Your balance updates automatically.
Sending an errand
Errands let you order from local merchants and get it delivered.
You can use Arcle mode or switch to Errand mode.
For example: “Run an errand — I need bread, eggs, and milk from a nearby shop.”
Arcle queries nearby merchants and shows you prices side by side. Pick the best option.
Confirm which merchant you want to buy from. Arcle processes the payment.
A rider picks up your order. You get live tracking in the chat — see when they pick up and when they arrive.
When your order arrives, confirm delivery. The rider gets paid.
Creating a drop
Drops let you send money as a claim link. Anyone with the link can claim.
Say “Create a drop of 100 USDC for 5 people, equal split.”
Arcle asks you how the funds should be distributed: Equal, Random, Lucky, Package, or DM.
Check the total amount, split type, and number of recipients. Confirm with your passkey.
Arcle gives you a shareable URL. Send it via message, email, or social media.
Ask Arcle “How is my drop doing?” to see who has claimed and how much remains.
Creating an invoice
Send professional invoices to clients and track payments.
Say “Invoice Sarah for website design — 250,000 NGN, due in 14 days.”
Arcle shows a preview with the client name, amount, description, and due date.
Confirm and Arcle sends the invoice to the client via their preferred channel.
Arcle notifies you when the client views the invoice and when it’s paid. You can send a reminder if it’s overdue.
Setting up an automation
Automate recurring payments so you never miss a bill or rent payment.
Say “Pay my landlord 250,000 NGN on the 1st of every month.”
Arcle confirms the amount, recipient, schedule (monthly), and next run date.
Approve the automation. It is now active.
Arcle notifies you before each scheduled payment. You can cancel a specific run or the entire automation at any time.
Ask “Show my automations” to see all active and past recurring payments.
Recovering your wallet
If you get a new phone or lose access to your device, you can recover your wallet and restore access to your funds.
There is nothing to write down
Arcle has no seed phrase and no recovery key for you to save. Recovery needs just two things you already have: access to your email and your Arcle PIN. Set recovery up in advance \u2014 and if you ever think you might forget your PIN, change it in Settings while you still have access to your device.
Setting up recovery (do this now)
Your recovery is protected by your PIN, so the PIN has to exist before recovery can be created.
Arcle also prompts you during signup, and shows a “Finish securing your wallet” card in chat if it’s still pending.
Arcle verifies your PIN, then generates your recovery key and encrypts it on our servers. You never see or store a key — there is nothing to copy down.
A single Face ID / fingerprint tap registers your recovery signer on-chain. It’s gasless — you pay nothing.
Settings shows Recovery status: Active. That’s it — you’re protected.
Recovering on a new device
Install the Arcle app or open arcle.xyz in your browser.
Choose “Recover wallet” on the sign-in screen and enter your email.
We email you a 6-digit code. Enter it within 10 minutes.
Your new device prompts you to set up Face ID / fingerprint. This creates a fresh passkey to replace the one on your old device.
This unlocks your recovery key on our servers and hands your wallet over to the new passkey. Your PIN never leaves our verification — and the recovery key never enters your browser.
Same wallet, same address, same balance and history — now controlled by your new device.
