Savings

Saving is hard because spending is easy. Arcle's savings tools are about discipline, not returns — they put money somewhere you won't casually dip into. Works with digital dollars or your local currency.

Arcle does not pay interest

We want to be blunt about this: savings goals and SafeLock earn no interest and no yield. Your money isn't invested or lent out — you get back exactly what you put in. What you gain is discipline, not a return.

Savings Goals

Name a target — rent, a laptop, an emergency fund — and put money toward it. Arcle tracks your progress and can remind you to contribute. You can take your money out whenever you like, with no penalty: you simply get back what you saved. A small fee applies to each contribution.

SafeLock

For money you genuinely must not touch. Lock an amount until a date you choose, and it is locked — there is no early break, at any price. Not for a fee, not by asking support. That is the entire point: the commitment is what makes it work. Your principal returns to your spendable balance automatically at maturity. A small fee applies when you lock.

Goal or SafeLock?

Choose a goal if you want flexibility — you can pull out anytime, free. Choose SafeLock only if you want to make it impossible to change your mind, because you truly cannot get it out early.

How to start saving

1Tell Arcle: "Create a savings goal of ₦500,000 for a new laptop"
2Or, to commit fully: "Lock 100 USDC for 6 months"
3Arcle shows you the amount, the fee and the terms, and waits for you to confirm
4Ask for an update anytime — “how’s my laptop goal?”
5Goals: withdraw whenever you want, no penalty. SafeLock: pays out by itself at maturity
