Shops, Errands & Delivery

Find out what things cost, order from a shop and have it delivered, or send a rider to do a task for you — with your money held safely until it's done.

What does it cost?

Shop prices — free

Supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and shops publish their prices in Arcle. Ask “how much is Peak milk?” and Arcle answers with real prices from named shops, cheapest first, and how recently each price was updated.

Market prices

Prices from open markets (Mile 1, Bodija and others), from market sellers on Arcle. See Rates & Prices.

Price check errand — ₦300

For a list nobody has published, Arcle can check prices for you. It costs ₦300 (taken from your naira balance, or the dollar equivalent), and Arcle always tells you the fee before it starts.

Order from a shop

    Ask

    “Buy 2 Peak milk and a loaf of bread from Market Square.” Arcle matches your list to the shop's live prices.

    Review one total

    Goods plus delivery, shown as separate lines. Prices are always re-read live — never an old quote.

    Pay

    Approve on the card. In Nigeria you can pay from your naira balance or in digital dollars.

    The shop accepts — or doesn't

    Your payment is held until the shop accepts. If it can't fill the order, it rejects it with a reason and you get everything back, delivery included.

    A rider delivers

    Once the shop has it ready, a nearby rider picks it up. Follow it live in the Workspace panel.

Your handover code

While your order is on the way, the tracker shows you a 4-digit handover code. Give it to the rider only when you have your things — that's what confirms delivery. Only you can see it; the shop and the rider can't.

Send a rider on an errand

For anything that isn't a shop order — pick up a parcel, buy something at the market, drop off documents — post the task and let riders bid.

    Riders offer a price; you pick one.

    Pay — it's held

    You pay the rider's fee plus any money for items up front. Arcle holds it; the rider can't touch it yet.

    The rider does it

    You see each step as they go.

    Confirm

    Say it's done and the rider is paid. If you don't respond, they're paid 24 hours after marking it delivered.

  • Cancel before the rider starts and you get a full refund.
  • Something wrong? Report a problem — the money stays held until a person at Arcle looks at it and decides. Arcle won't promise you an outcome before then.
  • You rate the rider after a delivery.

Riders

Riders apply in the app and, once approved, get delivery jobs and errands in their city with a sound alert, see what they'll earn before accepting, and are paid when a job is confirmed. See For Businesses.
